To date, there are over 1300 people registered to participate in the Cincinnati Walk Now for Autism and $40,000 raised! Congratulations!! Keep up the hard work and great job fundraising and growing your teams.
Remember to pre register everyone who plans to attend this year's Walk, including small children.
Autism Speaks' Walk Now for Autism, the nation's largest grassroots autism walk program, is our signature fundraising and awareness event, taking place in communities across the United States as well as Canada and the United Kingdom.
Powered by volunteers and families with loved ones on the autism spectrum, this successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.
Once you register online you can follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Create your Walk Web Page and upload your personal email address book to help you fundraise.
2. Start Fundraising with a letter writing campaign and email campaigns. This is a great opportunity to share your story and your fundraising goal for the walk.
3. Turning in your donations! If your donors make a donation online, you will be credited through the automatic system. Donations made online are typically 40% higher than those made by other means.
